Dark Shadows: Kitchen Sink Night At Collinwood

1 = Summary Court Martial

If there is one thing I can't stand, it is a film that spoils anything remotely entertaining in the trailer.  "Dark Shadows" is certainly guilty of this, but that's not the only problem with the film.

Why Marvel's The Avengers Isn't As Great As You Think It Is

By now I'm sure you're painfully aware of Marvel's The Avengers shattering box office records around the world, as its unholy success is shoved down our throats on an hourly basis from every known media outlet. You're probably also a fan of the film. With a 93% critical rating and a 96% audience rating from Rotten Tomatoes, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't partake of the cinematic Kool Aid last weekend.

Avengers Fans, Assemble!

Frontal Assault Friday 8/26: Don't Be Afraid Of Our Colombian Idiot Brother

Despite four major studio releases last weekend, not ONE was able to crack the top spot at the box office, which just goes to prove that you cannot roll a turd uphill.  It will just smear on the ascent.  I can't for the life of me figure out why "The Help" and the "Apes" are still seated in the top two spots.  Maybe it's because they both deal with race relations.  I suppose "Spy Kids" can't hold a candle to oppression.
